Why health-care services are in chaos everywhere

Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics Christopher Rauh's research has been featured in the Economist Magazine.

His research, co-authored by Thiemo Fetzer , suggests that for every 30 or so extra covid deaths, one non-covid patient dies, caused by the disruption to the quality of care. The article suggests that as covid-positive patients draw in resources, providers offer everyone worse care.
