Post-Pandemic Debt Sustainability in the EU/Euro Area

Professor Giancarlo Corsetti and Lorenzo Codogno (Visiting Professor in Practice, LSE) have published an article for VOXeu titled "Post-Pandemic Debt Sustainability in the EU/Euro Area: This Time May (and should) Be Different". This column suggests that the implementation of The EU Recovery Plan could give a substantial boost to the economy and fiscal revenues under very conservative assumptions on multipliers.
