The Cambridge-INET Institute - continuing as the Janeway Institute

New Research Coordinators

Cambridge-INET is pleased to announce that two new faculty members are joining the institute, and will serve as research coordinators. Kaivan Munshi is taking over as coordinator of our research programme on Networks, Crowds and Markets and Vasco Carvalho is the new coordinator for Transmission Mechanisms and Economic Policy.

Kaivan Munshi was recently appointed Frank Ramsey Professor of Economics in the Faculty. He is one of the world’s leading scholars working at the intersection of development, institutions and social networks.

Vasco Carvalho has established himself as the leader in understanding macroeconomic fluctuations. In his work, he has introduced novel methods of analysis that build on input- output models and economics of networks.

Professor Munshi and Dr Carvalho are exciting additions to the Cambridge-INET team as we begin what promises to be an exciting second year.
