The Faculty of Economics and Janeway Institute for Economics held a conference on "The Trade Environment and Trade Policy Options for the post-Brexit United Kingdom" on Wednesday 8th December 2021, 12:00am–17:30pm at Jesus College, University of Cambridge. The event focussed on frontier research developments in international trade and spatial economics. The emphasis was on new models and methodologies for studying complex economic phenomena.

New £12m research centre for inclusive trade policy

A major new research centre on inclusive trade policy is to launch in early 2022. The Centre for Inclusive Trade Policy aims to be a centre of excellence for innovative trade policy research. It will include Co-Investigator Professor Meredith Crowley from the University of Cambridge Faculty of Economics and Janeway Institute.

US-China Trade Relations: A Way Forward

Bloomberg reported that this trans-national working group have just released a proposal "US-China Trade Relations: A Way Forward", which proposes a new way to negotiate an end to the US-China Trade War.
