Debt Crises, Fast and Slow

Professor Giancarlo Corsetti will give an online seminar, as part of the Office of the Chief Economist - Middle East & North Africa's Chief Economist Seminar series, on Thursday 18th November 10.00-11.00am.

Professor Corsetti (Fellow of the British Academy, Professor of Macroeconomics, Cambridge University) will give a talk that reconsiders the logic of debt crises, specifying a stylized model suitable to address two key open issues in the literature. The event will be chaired by Daniel Lederman (Deputy Chief Economist, Middle East and North Africa, The World Bank) and the discussant will be Taline Koranchelian (Deputy Director, Middle East and Central Asia Department, International Monetary Fund). The event will be live streamed. Watch below or on the World Bank Group's youtube channel.
