Heterogeneity and Monetary Policy after COVID-19 Mini Conference

Cambridge-INET, the Centre for Macroeconomics and the Faculty of Economics are holding a mini conference on "Heterogeneity and Monetary Policy after COVID-19". Organised by Professor Giancarlo Corsetti and Lukas Freund, the mini conference will feature talks from Corina Boar (NYU) Benjamin Moll (LSE) and Marco Del Negro (NY Fed). The Heterogeneous Transmission of ECB Policies in a Post-COVID Europe

Professor Giancarlo Corsetti, Joao B. Duarte (Nova School of Business and Economics) and Samuel Mann (IMF) have published an article for VOXeu titled "The Heterogeneous Transmission of ECB Policies: Lessons for a Post-COVID Europe". This column suggests that the disruption to market integration brought about by the COVID-19 crisis may create further challenges to conducting monetary policy in the euro area.
